A luxury hand-made, caramel-filled biscuit covered in rich dark chocolate. We also make the caramel filling, called dulce de leche, in our artisan kitchen using local fresh ingredients. The alfajor is found in all Argentinian cafes and retail stores, and is a staple treat for adults and children alike.
Carlos Gardel comes from Buenos Aires and moved to the UK in 2005. His upbringing was in a crowded kitchen full of his Italian and German forbears, where he learned the traditional baking and cooking methods of Argentinian food.
